About Empire Ants Studio
Empire Ants is a studio of designers, strategists and engineers that builds the brand, product and strategy behind early-stage businesses, working from one research base so nothing gets lost between handoffs.
Studio
We're a small studio in Gurugram, India, working with founders around the world. We take on a few projects at a time, so the people you meet are the people who do the work. [CONFIRM]

The name
In normal ant species, ants from different nests will fight to the death over territory. “Empire” ants do the exact opposite. They practice unicoloniality, meaning millions of interconnected nests work together as a single cooperative network. [CONFIRM: cite a source for this on the page]
The empire is the business you're building. The ants are us: a small team that works as one across brand, product and strategy.
Why us
- Designers who engineer. Design and code in one team, so what we design is what gets built.
- Builders of our own products. We ship Common Genius products ourselves, so we think like owners, not vendors.
- Research before opinion. Every recommendation traces back to what customers and the market told us.
- Small by design. You work directly with the people doing the work. No juniors hidden behind a pitch.
Part of Common Genius
Empire Ants Studio is the client studio of Common Genius, an independent studio that also builds its own products. commongenius.in
